The Robot Revolution and Industrial IoT Initiative Initiative (RRI) and Plattform Industrie 4.0 have been discussing the field of industrial security. The results of the discussions have now been published in the white paper “Trustworthiness Concept -Ensuring Trustworthiness of Product Related Data ㏌ a Value Chain”, which is available as follows.
It highlights trustworthiness in the management of Product Related Data (PRD) generation, transcription, and utilization is systematically organized based on the Cyber Physical Security Framework and the Trustworthiness Expectation and Trustworthiness Capability framework. Particularly aware of the need to comply with the ESPR-based Digital Product Passport, the report takes a multi-layered view of PRD transparency and verifiability, and proposes building trust through mutual negotiation among the parties involved.
